So so so so so so so so tired T-T

Yesterday was the party for CSS bizad. Claire & I cooked for about 20 over people, from 3-7, hahaha. Damn tiring la, after we were done and everyone started eating, both of us just sat on the sofa at stared at everyone eat cos we had no more mood to eat haha. And the food was really not bad, considering we were both inexperienced chefs haha. Daryl's dog is sooooo cute! Like Claire called her, 'short, fat, cute', perfect summary if you add the word fluffy :D I like! Got a lift home after the event cos there were no more buses left.. And all I can say is, very very different personalities O_O

The day before, I met up with the usual dinner club peeps + Mel & Joyce (who left early) at Bliss Restaurant @ Punggol park. Very nice place, food & ambiance. Had steak, opened a bottle of wine, dessert & chocolate fondue. The bill was.... :X Hahahaha, but it was worth it la. We were sitting next to the waters, very very nice and romantic! :) Would recommend my friends to go there some time together maybe next year? :) :) And stupid Andrew stole my phone and started to message people about some guy I don't even know -_- Why am I not surprised! Always kena bully lor, tsk! Even Mel who was supposed to have Sisterhood with me became the mastermind behind the whole thing!! Now I'm phone-locking my contact numbers and messages for good, so no one can highjack my phone again, hmph.

Been spending too much. Been eating too much. Been watching tv too much. Been thinking too much.
Empty pocket, indigestion, putting on weight, confused.

Whatever. Haha! Off to find modules to bid for. CAN'T FIND ANYTHING TO FIT MY SCHEDULE!!!! :( :(

So much gayness! I thoroughly enjoyed the movie because my gutter-trash mind kept reading in between the lines and seeing things that were probably not meant to be there. Hahah!. XD

It's a weekday today and yet the queue was crazy!!! I queued more than half an hour before I finally got my tickets. I had GV Birthday Voucher Buy-One-Get-One-Free movie tickets but they were not applicable for any of the movies. WTF?! Might as well not give any! Then I will book my tickets online instead of wasting 40mins of my life queuing. Good thing I decided to go half an hour early to get the tickets. Even so, the seats I got were crap.

So the Horrible Cinema Seats Ranking List is now thus:

1st Place: Interstella 5555 - 2nd row from the front, right in the corner cramped against the wall, got a neck cramp afterwards.

2nd Place: Lord of The Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring - 4th row from the front, felt dizzy when they were doing those really awesome roller-coaster type shots and halfway into the movie, I ended up sitting at the steps near the top to watch.

3rd Place: Sherlock Holmes - 5 rows from the front, was slouching in my seat so I could see the whole screen. Two thirds into the movie, I was twitching in my seat cos my butt was becoming numb due to the awkward position.

Finished catching up on my One Piece manga and moving on the One Piece anime. Love it! It's probably the only anime where I love allll the main characters. Brook is a fun addition. Yohohoho! Almost cried when they were showing his past. Laboon is so cute! I think I would have enjoyed the Duval debut parts more if I hadn't really read the manga. Sanji is so silly and wiggly but I still love him best! Smartest guy on the team!

So busy this week! Meeting up with my friends on Tue, Wed, Thu and have 2 parties to attend on Sat. Deliberately ignoring work. I will die terribly when I get back to the office next week but I will deal with it when the time comes. :D

Went out with cousin and niece yesterday. I haven't seen niece for months. She grew up quite a bit and is slightly more obedient now. Okays, to be exact, still mischievous, but I guess all kids are like that. She insisted on wearing the cute socks I gave her, when she is wearing a pair of slippers. Then after like 20 mins, she remove them coz they are too slippery-.- 

We went to have lunch. Then she insisted on dragging me along to the toilet with her because she need to poop. Okays, so being nice, so I followed. I thought she only wanted me to accompany her to the toilet, but who knows she wants me to go in with her to the cubicle. Btw, she went to the toilet herself earlier on to pee. Okays, so I went in. Then she told me to face the toilet door, just in case I peep at her. And she said that I must ask her if she is done, before I can turn around. I tried to irritate her by keep asking the same few questions repeatedly=D 

The amazing thing about her is that she has double personality. There is a more obedient version, funny to the max. Had to carry her a couple of times when she can't see some stuff@.@ Watched chipmunks because she wanted to. Bought popcorns as well, because I heard she can't watch movies quietly without popcorns~ However, she is really a sweetie. She fed me popcorns and drinks in between the movie=)))

Marcus got a job at Ang Mo Kio NTUC Hub. haha so cute, he said everyday is beginning to feel more interesting because he get to carry carton boxes. 

Christmas was a good long weekend! Had last minute plans on Christmas. Called a few friends over and my mom's entourage came. Following 26th, met up with JC classmates at Hog's Breathe, chilled at TCC while yici entertained us with the latest china influx. I think the mainlands are gonna swamp Singapore. Or its already been swamped. haha! Quite scary the day mainlands take over ? another 50 years ? 

This evening when I was having dinner at Newton Circus. And I looked at all the food at the hawker centre and asked myself, where did hokkein mee originate? They say Singapore food is the best. But certain food doesn't originate here. What then is uniquely Singaporean? Then I was telling my bro how Ms Witherby (UK form teacher) couldn't comprehend Singlish when we insisted that we were speaking in English. Maybe that's our signature. The slang. Hmm ? 

Back to Christmas updates... 

Following Sunday, was really exhausted.. I slept the entire day! As soon as I realise how much time I did not utilise, its Monday! Went for hair treatment at Marina, again. The lady said that my hair isn't so dry now. haha off course lah! I tried out the new Pantene hair mask. She must have thought her company's products were excellent. haha 

oooh after much hesitation, I bought an instant Polaroid camera. ahhh I hope it isn't because of novelty sack! Blowed like 200+++, my dad is gonna kill me after seeing the bill! :x

This Xmas is a rather quiet one I guess.

I was on leave on Tuesday to recover from the KL trip. Went to follow up with my Chiropractor immediately in the afternoon since I wasn't really suppose to miss 1 whole week of treatment. It was good since I was suffering from bad backaches during the trip due to the stress (of carrying and dragging heavy bags), long hours of sitting and most likely the hotel bed (as comfy as it is, still too springy for my back I guess). After that head over to KKNM for some catching up before heading home for din.

Back to work on Wednesday.. nothing much XD then Thursday was half day as it was Xmas eve. Was suppose to join the office for some walk/run in the camp but it rained so we stayed in the office. Left at around 11.30am and went to Kushinbo for the buffet with my senior and junior. The spread was very good, not sure if it's because of the festive seasons or because we were early. Anyway ended up over-eating XD.. I was so full I felt like bursting and was still feeling full till lunch next day... haha.

In the nite, met up with Andrew to watch Avatar. OMG, it's really a great show. Yes story was straightforward, a cliche story but it was impactful. A message of how human's greed hurt nature and how powerful nature's force is was conveyed beautifully thru the show, made me feel so terribly guilty for our kind, so sad for the environment and in awe with the world at the same time. Guess I was so captivated I was unconsciously sitting straight and tense thru-out the 2nd half of the show and clinching my shawl tightly... I walked out of the theater feeling aching in my neck and shoulder, and still replaying messages from the show.

We went for the 3D show. The normal show itself is very very good, the 3D show was just a little add-on to the image, but I guess it might be the theater technology cannot match up, it doesnt really make great impact imo. Andrew just showed me iwerks is screening Avatar, so I'm going to watch it again. Yup. It's that good in my opinion to watch it over and over again.

Xmas day~ was a simply day to R&R at home with my love one =3. We had breakfast at yakun and went to do some shopping at NTUC. Lunch was instant japanese ramen while I worked on some new stuff for EOY and after that we played Raving Rabbids for nearly 2 hours XD before heading out for dinner.

Saturday was EOY... seriously epic fail. In fact now SGCafe is having some flamewars ... Library was really a bad idea for cosplay event, especially when it's inside the building. So ended up there's a limitation to the number of people who can enter the auditorium to watch the performance, pissing off all others who paid $12 / $15 but cannot enter to watch. The streaming to the outside was just a projection screen without sound ORZ.

Layout of the artists booth was .. erm.. weird. I felt so sorry for the booths that were stuck in the little corner behind the caferia >_<- not much people went there. I was in the "inner" hall which was still a little better but when the crowd came in in the afternoon, I think the walkway was kind of congested and many people didnt know there was a "inner" hall. Well.. I was just glad to have covered cost and managed to cover back most of printing cost for the doujin. Though it was quite a pain to tend booth alone T^T... all the years I always have a friend to help me, then Andrew (unwilling salesman for me XD), so stuck there alone is really crap =0=. Glad that Mori-aniki, Kitty and Esther came in the afternoon. Andrew came later on and bought me emergency food supply >_<- Sankyu~ 

I dunno to pity the EOY comm for getting bashed or to say they really sux... but frankly, they are totally inexperienced in this and took the event too lightly. Guess they treated the community like idiots and now they ended up the ones who look like idiots. ^^U. Appreciate they tried and they brought some parts of the event to a higher level but having money and better systems just doesnt help when your organising and crowd management phailz. They were kind of too narrow-sight I guess.

Anyway next up SOY'B. First time going, hope they are better =D

Dinner was at Liang Court, curry rice!! Yum.

Sunday was usual, after that went to Muji sale at Marina Square =D. The last sale I bought a turtle neck top I like a lot and so I managed to get another one this time and another dress with a tanktop. Love muji's design... if only the clothes can be cheaper =0=..

Overall a good weekend. Love it when we get to spend more time and quality time together =3

Had a good Christmas Eve. Bad Christmas morning. Somewhat salvaged Christmas day in the night.

Summary:
Christmas Eve - Good food, good company, good laughs at Aunt Helen's place. Waited til 12am for gift exchange with everyone else :)

Christmas - Screwed up singing solo in church for responsorial psalm. Felt so pathetic after it was over despite everyone insisting they didn't realize but they clearly did. Lost my phone. Cried. Realized I left it in my family friend's car a few hours later after they called, so I went to retrieve it. One of my lousiest Christmas morning by far. The mood sunk into afternoon so I just slept it away. Til night, everyone came over my place again. Happy talking to the cousins and showing them stuff :)

Boxing day - Something happened...... :X Not exactly sure about it, but I guess I'll think about it again.

My favourite time of the year! Looking forward to meeting up with some friends next week and spending my time nuaing at home or catching up on things I wanted to do. :D

My boss announced his resignation on Christmas Eve.

MERRY CHRISTMAS 

Yesterday, klara became the hero of christmas eve. good karma. haha 

She went down to Jac's place to company the emo girl. I couldn't sneak out because of several reasons, mom was asleep and house is surrounded with cameras. Nevermind, as Klara said, my soul was with them. We turned on the video on skype instead. And they were baking cornflakes cookies. 

Nothing much this christmas. Spent the week doing random activities, my brother and I became a pack. Everywhere I would go, he followed or he would meet some of his friends. On wednesday, couple of joel's army friends tricked us! We were suppose to watch Princess and the Frog. Even when the movie started, all 5 except the guy who, bought the tickets knew the show, thought it was Princess and the Frog. Turns out to be Avatar. And it was a good movie. No wonder Straits Times rated it 4 stars. The animation was superb! If I were an artist, I think I will work on nature and paint surreal fantasy-like portraits. 

Following xmas eve, headed to Lixin's new nail spa @ Hougang. Since its the christmas period, jac and i decided to paint our nails according to the season! So red it is. Bought macs for lunch and went to jac's place to sort the 1000++ photos to develop. In the end, I only selected 200.

I had been sleeping before 12am for the past week or so. I haven't figure out the main reason behind it. And seriously, at 1.25 am right now, I feel that it is damn late and I need to go to sleep. Even though I am not exactly sleepy. Not only that, I also wake up easily after 8hours of sleep. It's like so so so not me. So healthy till I can't seem to stand it as well.

Yay!!! The PC guy came and changed the motherboard and graphic card. Now my PC is working 90% fine! The keyboard is still wonky and the keys keep getting swapped around but the guy said he had to reformat and restore to factory settings and MAYBE that would solve the problem but I told him to heck it. I love my yaoi collection too much to reformat and besides I've kinda memorised all the swapped keys anyway.

My boss finally forced me to clear my leave! Yesh! So I'm on leave today. Tomorrow is a party day at work and then I'm on leave till next year. I wanted to go back for a couple of days to attend some meetings and finish up some stuff but he told me to get another colleague to help me follow up instead.
